Welcome back to the Park Station Blog! Today we will be highlighting some good reads for members of our apartment community, starting with A Thousand Letters Home by Teresa K. Irish. Irish presented copies of her book to over 80 libraries. She had this to say about America’s libraries, “Libraries truly are the social center and lifeblood of their communities, particularly in rural areas. I look forward to sharing my program with libraries across the country!” Head to the Gaithersburg, MD branch of the Montgomery County Public Library soon to pick up some books and get to reading. “Escape the room” games are becoming a hit all around the nation. What are they? They’re team games where a group of people is locked in a room and have to solve puzzles and hunt down clues in order to escape within the time limit. They’re sometimes described as the ultimate team-building experience.
